Bømlo

Bømlo is an island community consisting of
more than 1 000 large and small islands. The
area covered is 247 km2, and the population
is around 10 800. Bømlo´s population is growing
and optimism rules the economy. In the
spring of 2001, Bømlo entered a new era
when the Three-Point Road Link opened,
linking the island to the mainland and the
neighbouring island Stord.
